Is there a possibility of converting an indesign template to calamus?

Perhaps there might be someone nice enough to create the Calamus page layout for me to work with. This is from Blurb.

Large Format Landscape
Hardcover, ImageWrap
Standard Paper
30 pages

Page Specifications Inches
Final, exported should measure (w x h) 12.625 x 10.875

Page size / trim line (w x h) 12.5 x 10.625

Bleed (top, bottom, and outside edges) 0.125

Inset for Margins / Safe boundary
(Top, Bottom, Outside Edge) 0.25

Inset for Margins / Safe boundary
(Binding Edge) 0.625

Cover Specifications Inches
Final, exported should measure (w x h) 26.819 x 11.625

Total Page size / trim line (w x h) 26.193 x 10.999

Bleed (all edges) 0.313
Flaps
(w x h, measured from trim edge to fold) none

Gutter / Spine (w x h) 0.458 x 11.625

Inset for Margins / Safe boundary
(from edge of trim) 0.25

What software are you using to create your book?

We provide templates for InDesign®, but plan on providing support for a variety of creation tools. Let us know what templates we should create next.

I'm not sure how to set these up. I want to create books in Calamus and PDF them using Bridge and then upload them to blurb.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is off their site:

If you're ready to export, you'll need to use the press-friendly PDF/X-3 format set with Acrobat 4 (PDF1.3) compatibility. This is a flattened PDF. Here's our step-by-step tutorial on how to turn your PDFs into the PDF/X-3 format.

Holy crap. smiling smiley

You can build any document layout with Calamus on your own, even following the blurb parameters. This is no big deal at all, although the blurb stuff refers to the PostScript and PDF box model stuff.

As far as PDF/X-3 export is concerned: They just want to be sure they won't tumble over not included fonts, transparency and other mistakes. The best way to produce a safe PDF for production, is PDF-Print in the required resolution and color system.
