what is the max memory one can have set.

My machine has 3.5 gigs (4 physical installed)
that 3500 mb of ram.

but it seems if I put in 2500 mb in the calamus parameters (when launching calamus) it crashes and says not enough memory?

is there a limit for TOS?

I think that the limit is 2 gigs. I use 1,6 GB on my Mac and 500 MB on my WIndows machines. No problem, especially if you turn on Virtual Memory in Calamus, but that will slow things down with large documents.

The STEmulator (our built-in wrapper in Calamus.exe) cannot address more than about 1.5GB. Less is more, I never use more than 256MB, but I love my Fine Data Manager. winking smiley
