default printer settings
I've just upgraded from 2002 to 2003SL (Magic Mac, OS 9.1 on a G3).
Everything works well (thanks), but the printer driver seems to have defaulted to double pages (won't work without an even number of pages) and wants to print landscape.
How do I change the defaults? Everything looks correct (but isn't)

Define your stuff when NO DOCUMENT is open. Then save your CALAMUS.SET and restart Calamus. Everything should be defined properly now.

Tried that. Had a better result when I changed my .SET file to a previous one and the reinstalled various missing modules.

Whenever I save my set file, it is saved as "CALAMUS"

No extension, no nothing. I rename it by hand, manually deleting the old set file...

I have no idea why this occurs.

PS. Any word on the updated MagiCMac?

Hi Dave.

Which file selector do you use - the Calamus or a TOS one?
Please try and switch it in the System Parameters module once. Does this affect the saving of CALAMUS.SET in any way?

PS: Still trying to reach the ASH CEO for a phone talk.

Hi Ulf

I use the Calamus file selector, should I switch to TOS? I get the same results on both the Hades and the Mac, and in both cases use the Calamus selector, which I might add, is a very good one....smiling smiley

Simply try the System file selector in order to check what happens.
