Collector / CVG-export changes the image

Collector / CVG-export changes the image

I have made a vector image consisting of raster frames, text and lines. I have used masking on some places. When I then use Bridge 6 to export the entire page as CVG the order of the different frames is changed. The frames that was on top are now somehere else, maybe at the bottom or in the middle, and the masking does not seem to work. I have also tried to use Collector to collect the different frames, but this ends up with the same result. Why is this?

Did you embed raster frames, text and lines in ONE vector frame (which is indeed possible by using the optional LineArt module)?

Or did you rather compose a graphic on a Calamus document page using different frames?

If the first is true, then there might be a bug in Bridge as far as recognizing different "subframe" types in composed LineArt vector frames is concerned.

If you composed your graphic the second way, I wonder what should disturb the physical order of the frame hierarchy. In this case, please send a (zipped) sample file to support@calamus.net.

Thank you.

I did compose the image of different frame types (text, raster, line). I will send you a copy of my document.

Here is the result: Your document contains masked raster area frames which cannot be converted into "clean" vector objects. Thus, you get the black vector masks in front of your vectorized raster area frames.

I recommend creating the circle or ring segments as true vector objects in the vector editor module or rather in LineArt.
