Having just bought a G5 (what an incredible machine!) I find myself without access to Calamus (2002 in this case).
What I'd like is to hear from anyone with the same setup, especially with regards to NVDI, since my attempts to install that by copying from my OS9/MagiCMac 6.20 to the demo version failed on loading with an AES error message.
And what can I expect from the MM 6.20 to OSX upgrade version, presumably I'd just get the loader/options setting program and the OS file without MagxDesk and all the other utilities etc? What of future upgrades to MM OSX?
Finally, it IS possible to install NVDI without a floppy drive, but you must somehow get the two disks copied to the G5 - then delete the zero-length DISK1 file (I'm at work ATM and can't recall the exact filename).
And really finally, an English translation of the MagiCMac 6.20 (and I think the earlier version) loader/options setting prog can be found on my website http://ddp.atari.org
Cheers
