Selector question

Selector question

I have some vector frames that are put on the page like a water mark/background images. This means that a lot of text (in vector format) is on top. I would like to mark theese background images and remove them. But it is difficult with all the text on top. Moreover, I have 31 pages with exactly the same background images.

Can I in some way use Selector to select theese vector images? Since both they and the text are in vector format, it is not enough to simply mark vector frames. I also have to mark vector frames of a special size or position. Is this possible?

I think you're right. I have seached and I have found no way to select different vector-frames in Calamus. It would be a great feature of Selector to be able to select frames according to their position and measurements.

BTW, I have made one very usefull macro of Selector and Calipso3. Sometimes, when I import a PDF that has been made from a Word-document, the size of the page was somehow changed from A5 in Word to Letter in the PDF.
After importing the PDF in Calamus, every frame is selected, moved 3,325 cm to the left and then the size of the page is changed to A5, after which my standard raster is set and all the unused colours deleted.
Even with larger documents, it takes a few seconds at most.

Yes, I have exactly the same problem. But this was when I company made a Word document, A5, into a PDF-file for me. The format was changed from A5 to A4. A lot of teadius job by moving the frames afterwards in Calamus. And I have only a 400 MHz Celeron at the moment when I am out traveling. Took me hours!

Your macro sounds realy as a good idea. Why did I not think of it before all this work!
