Can't load drivers/modules anymore

For some reason I can't import pictures, text anymore.

I get this: no suitable driver found
Raster image import has no driver loaded yet. First load at least one suitable driver and try again.

The path to the drivers is set correctly but it seems no drivers are loaded at all.

The same story for the external modules

If I try to load one I get this:

wrong file format

The JPEG.CIR does not contain data in the desired Calamus format (External module).

Both the module and driver dirs has been re-installed from a backup but the problems persists

Calamus is properly installed on a W11 pc but ... only Calamus is there. The docs are all located on a networkserver owned by the city ​​Hall were I live. I only have access to the Calamus docs dir.
Also I remember me when I wanted to install Calamus 2015 on that W11 pc I had to call the IT responsible of the city Hall in order to get Calamus running the installation prg. Apparently I didn't had the permission to install new prg's on that pc.

The whole thing worked perfectly until last week when I got these errors popping up.

I suspect the drivers/module problem has something to do with permissions alas I can't ask the IT responsible because he's on holiday.

Is my suspicion correct or is there an underlying problem somewhere?

Hi there.

Did you install Calamus into the Programs directory? If so, this is wrong, because it cannot write its CALAMUS.SET file then.

Calamus is rightly installed C:/Calamus. As said Calamus has been working flawlessly untill all the sudden I got those errors.

Can you please open your CALAMUS.SET file with an ASCII text editor (like PSPad) and check the section [b]#ExternModules[/b] ? Are there any modules or drivers listed?

If not, please check in your System Parameters module whether system paths are interpreted as relative or absolute paths.

The drivers and modules are listed in CALAMUS.SET and the system path is set as relative.

Correction: The drivers and modules ARE NOT listed.
Because I didn't have time yesterday I asked a fellow worker to take a look at calamus.set. He then emailed me a snapshot of a part of Calamus.set, from which I then drew the wrong conclusion. My apologies for that.

Today I went to see for myself. The import/export drivers [b]are not listed[/b] in calamus.set.

Anyway the problem has been solved. I threw the old Calamus installation in the trash and restored everything from a backup. A new installation doesn't work because I don't have rights to install anything on that PC.

I still wondering why things all the sudden went wrong.
