Line Art Problems

Hello

With Calamus SL, when I load Lineart (1.55 or 1.52) I have the following problem. When I go to the edit Blend dialogue the cursor disappears and even though there is a default "OK," I cannot get out of the dialogue and must reboot the computer. It doesn'tappear that the machine has crashed but for all practical purposes it has.

Hi Dave.

Which computer are you working on? Do you see any difference between the behaviour of LineArt 1.52 and 1.55? I cannot replay this bug with LA 1.55 and SL2000.

Hi Ulf

I may be in trouble here. I am doing this on a Hades 060. I have the latest ROMS. I've found that if I wwait for twenty minutes or so, the dialogue shows me the preview. To a lesser extent this shows up in other parts of Line Art.
I have no problem with Line Art using MagiCMac.

I'm curious if you are using the latest ROMS for the Hades. I've tried deleting Acc's and Auto folder programs, drivers, etc. If you have no other suggestions I'll try the older ROMS. Another question I have is whether you can run Photoline on your machine?

Gamer I believe you have the same ROMS as I, do you have any problems with Line Art?

Did you already decrease the value of 'Blend Colours'? Call the function group 'Settings' and open the dialog 'Set Default Parameters'. There you can define the number of 'Blend Colours'. If you decrease the value from 256 to e.g. 32 or only 16 colours, the blend will be represented on screen (!) with only 32 or 16 stripes and will be created much faster! This does not change the number of blend stripes when printing or flashing the vector colour blend.

Please check this.

Hello Ulf

The number of Blend colors is 15, changing this to eight did not help. When I say that if I wait twenty minutes I can then see the dialogue, I do not mean that from then on things run mormally. Each access to any aspect of the dialogue continues to taketwenty minutes. When I work in the line color dialogue access takes 15 or twenty seconds, useable, but far longer then with Calamus 99. The settings all seem the same.

Hello Ulf To be a bit more precise about other problems I have with Line Art: I create an object in path mode, when I access the color fill dialogue, no matter what color I select in RGB mode it reverts toclear. If I try to push the sliders, they stay stuck - I cannot move them - They snap back. I can edit these colors in CYMK mode.
I do not have this problem if I am editing a raster area. Editing a raster area, everything works fine.
